近日上帝開路，讓我有機會參加在King’s College London之 Centre for the Study of Christianity in China (CSCIC) 的 ‘Biblical Studies: Issues in understanding and interpretation’ （聖經與詮釋）之Colloquium. 會議中我個比較熟悉的名字有李熾昌(Archie Lee)、溫司卡(Sze-kar Wan)、鍾志邦、KK Yeo。參加這次會議我不必付分文，本來早已知道有此會議，但既沒被邀請，也不知如何報名，又知道按以往理解，費用我是負擔不起的，早已沒此奢望。但沒想 到竟意外之被邀請。
出發前兩天，又收到指導教授的邀請看是否有興趣參加Edinburgh, Philosophy and Religion in Early China的工作坊。竟然也是免費的，嘩！感謝主，我一直覺得自己搞甚保羅與易經之研究，對聖經和中國經典研究都是兩邊不到岸，而上帝竟為我有此預備，感謝感謝！

This is a reproduction from Durham University Interdisciplinarity in Theology and Religion Webpage.
We are calling for papers of between 25 and 30 minutes in length, which are examples of interdisciplinarity in research. Since these papers are intended to foster discussion and illuminate what postgraduates are currently working on in their research, these papers are ideally works ‘in progress.’ They will be presented at cross-disciplinary sessions at which it will be necessary to present one’s research in a fashion accessible to scholars outside one’s own discipline. Submissions will be evaluated and, if chosen, will be paired with papers on similar topics or themes, to facilitate dialogue not only about each paper individually, but about various methodologies and approaches more generally.
Because discussion time is so vital, paper presentations will be strictly capped at 30 minutes, although 25 minutes is preferable. Electronic and AV facilities will be available.
If you are interested in presenting, please submit an abstract of up to 350 words no later than November 15, 2008 using the form on the Contact page. Abstracts may be submitted before or during registration.
Below is a short list of possible topics. These are, however, intended as reference and suggestion only, and those interested in submitting papers are encouraged to consider any topic of interest, so long as it falls within the parameters outlined above.
Some broad themes seem generally to benefit from, if not absolutely require, an interdisciplinary approach. For example:
Truth & Interpretation
Community/Relationship/Conflict
East/West/South(?)
Church/Academy/World
Ancient/Contemporary
Tradition and the Future
History and Eternity
Or perhaps more topical themes:
Ecology
Death
