ETHICS AND BIBLICAL INTERPRETATION CONSULTATION
Description: The aim of the Ethics and Biblical Interpretation Consultation is to study the way the various projects of biblical interpretation and hermeneutics intersect with the concerns of ethics. This consultation will engage ethicists, theologians, and biblical scholars in interdisciplinary conversations.
Call for papers: There will be two sessions in Boston in November, 2008. The panelists and respondent for the first session, on “The Bible, Ethics, and the Environment," have already been invited. The second session, on “The Bible, Ethics, and the Outsider," is OPEN, and we invite paper proposals that address this topic.
