Dr. Grace Hui Liang, associate professor of College of Humanities, Zhejiang University,
PRC. Since 2005, she is also a member of the Key Institute of Christianity and
Cross-cultural Studies, Zhejiang University, Ministry of Education of the P. R. China.
Among the very few PRC scholars that focus on biblical interpretation, Prof. Liang is
playing a pioneer role in biblical studies and Chinese biblical hermeneutics in Mainland
China. She has published many papers on Christian studies, OT wisdom literature and
Chinese biblical interpretation. Her recent works are: Hokmah: The Biblical Passage to
the Good Life – Research on the Wisdom Literature of the Hebrew Bible (Hong Kong: Wen Wei
Publishing Co., 2006, in Chinese), How Do Modern Chinese Christian Intellectuals Read the
